22 November 2007: Joint work on integration system using LMS tools
The joint workshop on integration system using LMS tools was held at Beihang University. People from LMS, AVIC II STC and BUAA were participating. It was discussed how to extend current OPTIMUS parallel interface to fit their situation (working with GRIA e.g.). The goal was to establish a 'one level' optimization workflow integrating Cheng Wenyuan’s code and optimization algorithms.
After one day joint work everybody understood how OPTIMUS works with distributed systems, and what modification and extension needed to be implemented at both OPTIMUS parallel interface and GRIA side.
Hopefully, this workflow will be able to run in a distributed way (on two clusters in China) within 2007. In the next step a 'multi-level' optimization workflow will be built and run distributedly.

A joint meeting of the three FP6 projects, ECHOGRID, BRIDGE and GridCOMP was held at CNIC: More than 70 people attended and it also attracted the officers from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China as well as of the French Embassy.
